Hello friends. This time I have prepared something really special for you 🙂 A menu which is full of libido boosting dishes which will help you & your partner to enjoy this year’s Valentine’s day like never before 🙂

The menu consists of a tasty appetizer (scallops), a VeGaN starter (carrot, sweet potato, and chili soup), main dish (risotto with saffron) and a VeGaN dessert (dark chocolate mousse with chili).

As you see I took care of creating the menu which is balanced in taste and flavors, has many textures and it is cooked with a different type of cuisines (VeGaN vs. non-vegan).

Last but not least, I have cooked and tasted each dish by myself and can tell you, you will be satisfied 🙂 (if you know, what I mean 😉 ).

Libido boosting ingredients.

Libido boosting ingredients which I have used in the menu are: scallops, garlic, chili, saffron, olive oil, cocoa powder, and dates.

Scallops:

Scallops were featured in a 2005 study that indicated that these
little fruits of the sea are holding the potential of raising sexual hormone levels in both men and women. They contain vitamin B12, selenium, magnesium, zinc and potassium. Nutrients vital to a healthy sex life 🙂

Garlic:

Garlic, for example, is high in an ingredient called allicin. It can help stimulate circulation and blood flow to sexual organs in both men and women. Just be careful when using it, too much garlic can destroy the romantic mood and the whole dinner 🙂

Chili:

This invigorating spice has an exotic reputation and a bright red colour, which could be why chili peppers are considered natural aphrodisiac foods and a symbol of love. Chili peppers stimulate endorphins (the brain’s feel-good chemicals), speed up heart rate and make you sweat, which all mimic how you feel when you’re aroused.

Saffron:

Saffron is a natural aphrodisiac and it is proven that it can increase the sexual desire.

Olive oil:

Olive oil is packed with antioxidants and it is a good source of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which are critical for a healthy heart, blood flow, and hormone production.

Cocoa powder:

Cocoa contains a lot of beneficial antioxidants called flavonoids, a high iron content, and much, much more. Most importantly, it contains phenylethylamine, which gives a stimulating effect and releases the neurotransmitters dopamine and serotonin in the brain.

Dates:

Eating dates will promote sperm quality and quantity as it is one of the best natural fruits used for male fertility. It also increases the size of testes in men and the size of breast in women. Consuming the fruit can help to treat sexual disorders because it is a natural aphrodisiac.
