So what are the basics of a good pizza? I would say that very important is a dough. If it is too hard the pizza will be like a brick. On another side, if it’s too thin then it will be flabby. The rest is all about your personal taste preferences. You can mix on top whatever you want and see what you like the most.

When making pizza, always put the cheese on top of the sauce, but under all the other ingredients. This way, all the ingredients will be visible and not covered by the melted cheese. You can check this also when you are in a restaurant or a pizza place. If the pizza which you order will be covered by cheese on top, the restaurant is probably not proud of what they used under it. Ingredients

  • Dough – Cesto
  • 500g of pizza flour (I used an Italian 00 one) – 500g mรบky na pizzu, ja pouลพรญvam Taliansku 00.

  • 30g of fresh yeast (or 7g of dried yeast) – 30g svieลพeho droลพdia alebo 7 gramov droลพdia v prรกลกku

  • Cup of water with a body temperature – ลกรกlka vlaลพnejย vody

  • One spoon of sugar – ฤajovรก lyลพiฤka cukru

  • 1 spoon of salt –ย ฤajovรก lyลพiฤka soli

  • 1 tbs of olive oil – 1 lyลพica olivovรฉho oleja

  • Sauce – Omรกฤka
  • 200g of tomato puree – 200g paradajkovรฉho pretlaku

  • 2 tbs of balsamic vinegar – 2 lyลพice balzamikovรฉho octu

  • 1 spoon of brown sugar – 1 lyลพica hnedรฉho cukru

  • Salt – soฤพ

  • 2 tbs of water – 2 lyลพice vody

  • Cashew cheese – Syr z keลกu
  • 1 cup of cashew nuts – ลกรกlka keลกu orieลกkov

  • Salt – soฤพ

  • Juice from half of a lemon – ลกลฅava z polovice citrรณna

  • 1/2 tea spoon of garlic powder – 1/2 ฤajovej lyลพiฤky cesnaku v prรกลกku

  • 1 tbs of olive oil – 1 lyลพica olivovรฉho oleja

  • Water – voda

  • 2 tbs of yeast flakes – 2 lyลพice droลพdovรฝch vloฤiek

Directions

  • Dough – Cesto
  • Put the yeast into the cup with warm water and mix well. Add one tea spoon of sugar. Leave for around 5 minutes so the yeast can activate and grow. –
    Do ลกรกlky s teplou vodou pridaj droลพdie a lyลพiฤku cukru. Dobre vymieลกaj a nechaj v pokoji na asi 5 minรบt.ย 
  • Mix the flour in a bigger bowl with the activated yeast, salt and a tablespoon of olive oil. If you use a kitchen robot mix it on a medium speed for about 10 minutes. In case not, knead the dough with your hands you will need 5 more minutes. If the dough is sticky add a bit more of the flour. If it is too hard and dry add water. –
    Do vรคฤลกej misky daj mรบku, pridaj aktivovanรฉ droลพdie, soฤพ, lyลพicu olivovรฉho oleja a dobre vymieลกaj. Ak pouลพรญvaลก kuchynskรฉho robota tak cesto mieลกaj po dobu 10 minรบt. Ak ho vyrรกbaลก ruฤne tak budeลก potrebovaลฅ a 5 minรบt viac. V prรญpade, ลพe sa cesto lepรญ pridaj troลกku mรบku. Ak je cesto tvrdรฉ a nedรก sa s nรญm pracovaลฅ pridaj trochu vody.
  • Place the dough into a bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest for approximately 1 hour. During this time it should double in size. –
    Takto vypracovanรฉ cesto poloลพ do misky, zakryย kuchynskou utierkou a odloลพ na teplรฉ miestoย na asi 1 hodinu.
  • Sauce – Omรกฤka
  • Mix the tomato puree with brown sugar, a pinch of salt and balsamic vinegar. Add a bit of water to lose it a bit.
    V miske vymieลกaj paradajkovรฝ pretlakย s balzamikovรฝm octom, hnedรฝm cukrom a ลกtipkou soli. Mรดลพeลก pridaลฅ trochu vody ak chceลก aby bola omรกฤka jemnejลกia.
  • Cashew cheese – Syr z keลกu
  • Into a food processor add the cashews and olive oil. Mix until you will get a smooth paste. Add the lemon juice, salt, garlic powder and the yeast flakes and mix on a high speed for approximately 3 minutes. In case you want to achieve better cheese taste add more yeast flakes.
    Do kuchynskรฉho mixรฉra daj keลกu orieลกky a olivovรฝย olej. Vymixuj aลพ kรฝm nebudeลก maลฅ jemnรบ pastu. Potom pridaj soฤพ, ลกลฅavu z citrรณna, cesnak v prรกลกku a droลพฤovรฉ vloฤky. Vลกetko dobre vymieลกaj na najvyลกลกej rรฝchlosti asi 3 minรบty. V prรญpade, ย ลพe chceลก dosiahnuลฅ lepลกiu syrovรบ chuลฅ pridaj viac droลพฤovรฝch vloฤiek.
  • PIZZA
  • When the dough is ready, take it out from the bowl and place on a kneading board. Flatten out the dough by using a rolling pin until. The thickness in the middle should not be thicker than 0,5cm.
    Keฤ je uลพ cesto pekne vyrastenรฉ, poloลพte ho na dosku a za pomoci valฤeka vyvalkujte. V strede by cesto nemalo byลฅ hrubลกie ako 0,5cm.ย 
  • Smear the tomato sauce on the dough, add your ingredients and bake at 200 Cยฐ for 14-15 minutes. Serve with the cashew cheese dip. On my pizza I used a vegan salami, red pepper, mushrooms, sweet corn and a bit of dried oregano.
    Takto vyvalkovanรฉ cestoย potriteย vaลกou omรกฤkou a pridajte vลกetky vaลกe prรญpravy. Pizzu peฤte na teplote 200 Cยฐpo dobu od 14-15 minรบt. Podรกvajte s keลกu syrom. Na moju pizzu som dal vegรกnsku salรกmu, ฤervenรบ papriku, huby, kukuricu a suลกenรฉ oregรกno.ย
