So what are the basics of a good pizza? I would say that very important is a dough. If it is too hard the pizza will be like a brick. On another side, if it’s too thin then it will be flabby. The rest is all about your personal taste preferences. You can mix on top whatever you want and see what you like the most.

When making pizza, always put the cheese on top of the sauce, but under all the other ingredients. This way, all the ingredients will be visible and not covered by the melted cheese. You can check this also when you are in a restaurant or a pizza place. If the pizza which you order will be covered by cheese on top, the restaurant is probably not proud of what they used under it. 500g of pizza flour (I used an Italian 00 one) – 500g mΓΊky na pizzu, ja pouΕΎΓvam Taliansku 00.
30g of fresh yeast (or 7g of dried yeast) – 30g svieΕΎeho droΕΎdia alebo 7 gramov droΕΎdia v prΓ‘Ε‘ku
Cup of water with a body temperature – Ε‘Γ‘lka vlaΕΎnejΒ vody
One spoon of sugar – ΔajovΓ‘ lyΕΎiΔka cukru
1 spoon of salt –Β ΔajovΓ‘ lyΕΎiΔka soli
1 tbs of olive oil – 1 lyΕΎica olivovΓ©ho oleja
- Sauce – OmΓ‘Δka
200g of tomato puree – 200g paradajkovΓ©ho pretlaku
2 tbs of balsamic vinegar – 2 lyΕΎice balzamikovΓ©ho octu
1 spoon of brown sugar – 1 lyΕΎica hnedΓ©ho cukru
Salt – soΔΎ
2 tbs of water – 2 lyΕΎice vody
- Cashew cheese – Syr z keΕ‘u
1 cup of cashew nuts – Ε‘Γ‘lka keΕ‘u orieΕ‘kov
Salt – soΔΎ
Juice from half of a lemon – Ε‘Ε₯ava z polovice citrΓ³na
1/2 tea spoon of garlic powder – 1/2 Δajovej lyΕΎiΔky cesnaku v prΓ‘Ε‘ku
1 tbs of olive oil – 1 lyΕΎica olivovΓ©ho oleja
Water – voda
2 tbs of yeast flakes – 2 lyΕΎice droΕΎdovΓ½ch vloΔiek
Directions
- Dough – Cesto
- Put the yeast into the cup with warm water and mix well. Add one tea spoon of sugar. Leave for around 5 minutes so the yeast can activate and grow. –
Do Ε‘Γ‘lky s teplou vodou pridaj droΕΎdie a lyΕΎiΔku cukru. Dobre vymieΕ‘aj a nechaj v pokoji na asi 5 minΓΊt.Β - Mix the flour in a bigger bowl with the activated yeast, salt and a tablespoon of olive oil. If you use a kitchen robot mix it on a medium speed for about 10 minutes. In case not, knead the dough with your hands you will need 5 more minutes. If the dough is sticky add a bit more of the flour. If it is too hard and dry add water. –
Do vΓ€ΔΕ‘ej misky daj mΓΊku, pridaj aktivovanΓ© droΕΎdie, soΔΎ, lyΕΎicu olivovΓ©ho oleja a dobre vymieΕ‘aj. Ak pouΕΎΓvaΕ‘ kuchynskΓ©ho robota tak cesto mieΕ‘aj po dobu 10 minΓΊt. Ak ho vyrΓ‘baΕ‘ ruΔne tak budeΕ‘ potrebovaΕ₯ a 5 minΓΊt viac. V prΓpade, ΕΎe sa cesto lepΓ pridaj troΕ‘ku mΓΊku. Ak je cesto tvrdΓ© a nedΓ‘ sa s nΓm pracovaΕ₯ pridaj trochu vody. - Place the dough into a bowl, cover with a kitchen towel and let it rest for approximately 1 hour. During this time it should double in size. –
Takto vypracovanΓ© cesto poloΕΎ do misky, zakryΒ kuchynskou utierkou a odloΕΎ na teplΓ© miestoΒ na asi 1 hodinu. - Sauce – OmΓ‘Δka
- Mix the tomato puree with brown sugar, a pinch of salt and balsamic vinegar. Add a bit of water to lose it a bit.

- Into a food processor add the cashews and olive oil. Mix until you will get a smooth paste. Add the lemon juice, salt, garlic powder and the yeast flakes and mix on a high speed for approximately 3 minutes. In case you want to achieve better cheese taste add more yeast flakes.
Do kuchynskΓ©ho mixΓ©ra daj keΕ‘u orieΕ‘ky a olivovΓ½Β olej. Vymixuj aΕΎ kΓ½m nebudeΕ‘ maΕ₯ jemnΓΊ pastu. Potom pridaj soΔΎ, Ε‘Ε₯avu z citrΓ³na, cesnak v prΓ‘Ε‘ku a droΕΎΔovΓ© vloΔky. VΕ‘etko dobre vymieΕ‘aj na najvyΕ‘Ε‘ej rΓ½chlosti asi 3 minΓΊty. V prΓpade, Β ΕΎe chceΕ‘ dosiahnuΕ₯ lepΕ‘iu syrovΓΊ chuΕ₯ pridaj viac droΕΎΔovΓ½ch vloΔiek. - PIZZA
- When the dough is ready, take it out from the bowl and place on a kneading board. Flatten out the dough by using a rolling pin until. The thickness in the middle should not be thicker than 0,5cm.
KeΔ je uΕΎ cesto pekne vyrastenΓ©, poloΕΎte ho na dosku a za pomoci valΔeka vyvalkujte. V strede by cesto nemalo byΕ₯ hrubΕ‘ie ako 0,5cm.Β - Smear the tomato sauce on the dough, add your ingredients and bake at 200 CΒ° for 14-15 minutes. Serve with the cashew cheese dip. On my pizza I used a vegan salami, red pepper, mushrooms, sweet corn and a bit of dried oregano.
Takto vyvalkovanΓ© cestoΒ potriteΒ vaΕ‘ou omΓ‘Δkou a pridajte vΕ‘etky vaΕ‘e prΓpravy. Pizzu peΔte na teplote 200 CΒ°po dobu od 14-15 minΓΊt. PodΓ‘vajte s keΕ‘u syrom. Na moju pizzu som dal vegΓ‘nsku salΓ‘mu, ΔervenΓΊ papriku, huby, kukuricu a suΕ‘enΓ© oregΓ‘no.Β - Enjoy π – DobrΓΊ chuΕ₯ π
